Support Our Parents, Steve and Deb Inman, During Their Time of Need

Our parents, Steve and Deb Inman, have always been the most selfless, hardworking, and caring people we know. They’ve spent their lives putting others first, but now they’re facing incredible challenges and need our help.

Over the past two years, our dad’s health has taken a heartbreaking turn. After suffering a heart attack in February 2023, he was diagnosed with non-small cell adenocarcinoma (lung cancer) in July. Then, in March 2024, he spent two weeks in the hospital and was diagnosed with Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus. While a shunt initially brought some hope, his health has rapidly declined. He has been out of work since July 2024 and has continued to decline even further since then. He is no longer able to take care of himself or do basic daily tasks and now relies entirely on our mom to be his full-time caregiver.

Meanwhile, our mom has been doing everything she can to hold things together. But in October 2023, her employer unexpectedly closed, taking away the health insurance that had been vital for our dad’s care. She’s been working as much as possible while caring for him, but she can only manage about 12 hours a week. This isn’t enough to meet their needs.

As their children, it’s incredibly hard to watch them go through this. They’ve always been the ones helping others, and now they need support. As the holidays approach, we know money is tight for everyone, but if you’re able to contribute, it would mean the world to our family. Every little bit helps provide relief and hope during this difficult time.
