Help Steve Baronski Fight Cancer

Family and friends,

As you may know, our beloved friend Steve Baronski was recently diagnosed with a very rare type of cancer. On March 15, 2023, Steve went in for what he believed was a routine surgery to remove a sarcoma from his abdomen. Days after the surgery, we learned that the mass removed from his abdomen was a myxoid liposarcoma, a rare cancer affecting only between 300-600 people yearly. Steve underwent further testing in the following weeks, and a second tumor was discovered.

Steve has a long road ahead of him. Over the next few months, he will be traveling out of town to receive treatment from medical teams with expertise and experience in treating this rare disease. Multiple surgeries, chemotherapy, radiation, and extensive travel are all anticipated in Steve’s immediate future.

As the owner and operator of a small business, Square 1 Fitness, this will be devastating for Steve financially. Out-of-pocket costs for appointments, testing, and treatment are already beginning to accumulate. Let’s be there for the guy who has always been there for us. Whether it was creating a meal plan, a workout, or helping move a couch, Steve was always around to help. Now it’s our turn.
