Help Steve Bax with medical expenses

This page was created for Steve “Bax” who is a dear friend to many. Over the last month due to diabetes, Steve was hospitalized and endured multiple surgeries and rehab care. The amount of money his care has cost is skyrocketing and he needs some help. He currently has partial insurance coverage but nearly enough.
Update 8/23 - Steve had to have his leg right below his knee amputated. He’s being fit for a prosthetic.
Update from Steve
Being a type 2 diabetic. On October 2021, I lost my right big toe due to an infection. A year and a half later, in late March, a blister on my left foot became septic and traveled into my bone and then my blood. I lost my left little toe this time. The hospital stay was a month with another month at a rehab center to continue IV antibiotics. I’m at a friend's place doing home health care. I have a wound vac that is sucking the fluid from the wound. The timetable for a possible recovery is at least another 3 months.
Update 7/29/23
Hey all, first I want to thank everyone for all your support for me going through this rough patch. Update I had to have my left leg amputated below the knee. They say it is prime for a prosthetic. I will make it through this and back to the old Bax .
Love you.Thanks again
