Help Steve get a wheelchair accessible van

Hi, my name is Scott. I am fundraising for a wheelchair-accessible van for my brother Steve. Steve was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis when he was in high school. Through the years his condition has advanced to where he is in a wheelchair full time. The current vehicle setup that my brother and his family have used for the past several years has served them well, but it is beginning to have its own challenges. A couple of years ago they were able to add a seat lift to their car which was a huge blessing and it relieved the difficulties of physically lifting him into his seat. Recently as he has lost more and more upper body strength transferring him from his wheelchair into the seat lift has proved difficult and on several occasions now Steve has ended up on the ground. The van we are looking for would remove any need for Steve to transfer out of his chair. The downside is these vans, even used, are very expensive. This is why I am asking for your help. For those who know Steve and his family, they are incredible. Steve has a very positive attitude even with everything he has going on. His sweet wife Teresa has been by his side through all of this raising their family of 5, 6 when you count Steve. This van is just as much for her as it is for Steve because it will take one more stress off of her in an already difficult situation. As their boys get older it's increasingly common that Teresa doesn't have anyone to help with Steve if he falls. This happened recently where they relied on the kindness of strangers to help get Steve up. This van will help Steve keep as much independence as possible and be a relieving blessing.
