Steve Sperber, Peace Warrior, Needs our Help Now
Donation protected
In a period of just weeks, Steve went from his usual healthy and smiling self, swimming daily in the ocean, happily doing his Seva (selfless service), to a sudden and severe physical decline.
Extensive allopathic-medicine based testing has diagnosed Steve with a rare, rapidly progressing neurodegenerative condition.
Steve has become very weak and is unable to walk without the use of a walker. He needs assistance with all the activities of daily living. A medical aide needs to be with him 24/7.
A team of medical professionals has come up with a treatment plan to slow down the progression of the disease.
The plan involves use of alternative medicine practices such as Ayurveda, Integrative nutrition, and functional medicine. IV fluids will be used to address dehydration that’s caused by the disease.
According to his doctors, the current estimated cost of his medical treatment and home health aides will be at least $100,000. In the rare circumstance of funds being left over after treatment, such funds will be donated to a charity close to Steve’s heart.
Steve’s wisdom still shines through like a brilliant flame. A few days ago, Ronnie was doing Asanas before meditation. Steve noticed she was distracted and reminded her to “do it with awareness”. When she finished, he asked her “what are the three best gifts you can give yourself?” Ronnie answered and asked Steve’s thoughts in return. Steve answered “faith, perseverance, and joy.”
He continues to offer up such pearls it seems each day. He is such a blessing on this planet.
Please keep Steve in your prayers and positive thoughts, and send your love to him. Keep him in positive love and light and share daily blessings in just the way he lives his life.
