Help Steve Vincent Kick Cancer
Donation protected
For those of you that don't know, Steve was diagnosed in the spring of 2021 with squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck. One of the many things we have discovered is that cancer is many times a by-product of severe emotional trauma. Steve's greatest trauma was the loss of his only child in 2009 which was devastating to him and then came the loss of his best friend to cancer.
Those who know Steve would attest that he is one person who is always focused on helping others in any way he can. Even now while he has his own illness to worry about, he is always assisting others in any way he can. I am beyond proud of my husband and the way he selflessly continues to do things for others and strives to make this world a better place.
He underwent treatments using chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery but they were unable to kill the stem cell so the cancer has returned. He is now undergoing natural treatments and has a great prognosis of coming out cancer free. However, the medical bills have exceeded over $100,000 out of pocket in his search for a cure. We need some assistance to cover these expenses that continue to add up as it’s not covered through insurance.
Steve said that one thing that will always stick in his mind was the words that his best friend Joe shared with him when he was receiving money from a benefit that Steve organized to help Joe raise money for his medical expenses.
“This is the hardest thing to receive this money, even though I desperately need it. It is so much easier for me to give than to receive”
I know that Steve shares these same feelings and this has been a difficult decision for him to make.
We are grateful for any assistance you may be able to give. Please consider sharing this post with others who may have the ability to assist us. Blessings to all!
