Help Steven Pressfield Rebuild After Losing Home in LA Fires

Dear Family & Friends,

It is with a heavy heart that I share devastating news: Steven Pressfield and his partner, Diana Wilburn, have lost their home of 32 years in the recent Los Angeles fires. Their beloved home—a sanctuary of love and creativity—was destroyed, along with Steven’s writing space, where he crafted The War of Art, Gates of Fire, and countless "Writing Wednesdays" posts that have inspired so many.

True to their nature, Steven and Diana were reluctant to ask for help, but after reminding them of the immense community they’ve touched, they agreed to let me extend this request on their behalf. Now, we have the opportunity to stand by our friends and help lighten the burden of the difficult road ahead.

The funds raised will help them secure temporary housing, replace essentials, and begin the difficult road to rebuilding. Though the task ahead is daunting, their spirit remains strong, as does their commitment to Steven’s writing and supporting their community.

For years, Steven’s words have helped us push past resistance and face life’s challenges. Now, we have the chance to offer them the same compassion and support they have given so generously to others.
