Help Steven Lane's Family in Their Time of Need
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Steve Lane, born on July 13, 1955. Steve left us on October 2, 2024.
He will be sadly missed by his longtime love, Cindy “Chickie” Black of Mondovi; children, Becky (Ryan) Weiss of Eau Claire, Jeremy Black of Eau Claire, and Nicole (Ben) Black of Mondovi; 5 grandchildren, Axel and Annie Watts, Aiden Black, Aleya and Yaretzi Rodriguez; siblings, Priscilla “Pixie” (Chuck) Wolf of Elmwood, Brad (Tracy) Lane of Hastings, MN, Ron (Fiancee, Margie) Lane of Plum City, and Jody (Trudi) Lane of Durand; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Steve leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories,
Steve was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, friend, brother, and community member who touched the lives of many. He was someone who could light up a room with his sense of humor, silly dance moves, and ridiculously entertaining air guitar solos.
As we navigate this difficult time, we are reaching out for support to cover the costs associated with his end-of-life arrangements, including memorial, cremation, and burial expenses.
How you can help:
Your generous contributions will help us honor Steve’s memory and give him the farewell he deserves. Any amount, big or small, will make a significant difference and is deeply appreciated.
