Help Steven Woodard's Children in Their Time of Loss

We are deeply saddened to announce the unexpected passing of Steven LaMarr Woodard on October 1, 2024. Born on December 23, 1974, in Greenville, Michigan, to Nancy and Edward Woodard, Steven moved to Orange County, California, during his elementary school years, forming lasting friendships that remained important throughout his life.

In high school, Steven met his ex-wife, Heather, and they married in 1994. Together, they welcomed two wonderful children, Jaelen McKenley (1994) and Stevie Marie (1999), in Temecula, California. Although Steven and Heather divorced in 2020, they maintained a strong friendship and often shared memories.

Professionally, Steven worked for FedEx in Colorado, where he was known for his vibrant personality and ability to light up any room. An avid Raiders fan, he brought enthusiasm and joy to every gathering.

Steven is survived by his beloved children, Jaelen and Stevie, Jaelen’s wife LaRyah, and his grandson Denahe , along with his father Edward. He also leaves behind the memory of his brother, Keith Jeffrey, who passed unexpectedly in 2023, and his mother, Nancy, who passed in 2012—losses that weighed heavily on Steven’s heart.

Jaelen and Stevie were unprepared for this unexpected tragedy and not financially prepared to lay their dad to rest. The family is navigating this profound loss and is seeking assistance with funeral expenses during this difficult time.

Steven will be remembered for his kindness, his infectious spirit, and his love for family and friends. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
