Denver Food Pantry
Donation protected
Hi there all you wonderful people out there,
My name is Kirsten and I work at a Food Pantry here in Denver. Right now we are REALLY LOW on food as is our donation box. I know everyone has things going on in their lives, bills that need to be paid, food that needs to be bought for your own tables, I get it, I really do. I see it everyday. I understand what it feels like to live paycheck to paycheck. So do our kids who depend on the food pantry daily and weekly to survive. And it is not just food we provide, we also provide personal items like toothbrushes, toothpaste, tampons, and many more things a person would need. We have lots of people who are trying to juggle full-time school and work or raise families, as well as kids just trying to get by. Denver has become a really expensive place to live and I watch kids and families picking and choosing from the little we have, trying to figure out how they are going to extend it all week long. Our food pantry depends on donations from amazing people like yourselves and your support is crucial to our mission. Help us fill our shelves and help kids in need. After the money is raised, I will present a check for $1500, made out to the Food Pantry. The team then budgets the donation and splits it up into two week increments, shopping every other week to keep the pantry filled with non-perishables, as well as fresh produce and frozen foods.
If you're in the Denver area and would like to donate food or personal items, please email me.
Thank you in advance for your gift and your support
