Help Stoker Replace Totaled Car After Crash

Hello, I am Stoker, maker of things online, and I need your help. Early in the morning of November 5th (my birthday, no less) I was driving through a vicious storm in east Texas to get back home when my car suddenly hydroplaned on me. I lost control, spun out, and crashed head-on into the concrete barrier in the median. Both airbags deployed, but fortunately neither my passenger nor I were seriously hurt (though we are still a bit sore). My car, unfortunately, was totaled...and it's apparently going to be quite some time before the insurance is going to be able to pay out for it.

Those of you who live in the US know how indispensable a car is, and in this area, it's even more so. Public transportation is extremely limited to non-existent for the places I need to go, and my insurance will no longer be paying for my rental car starting today. I'm looking at used cars of various makes and models and years, but haven't found anything suitable that isn't somewhere between $8k and $15k. So, once again, I am calling upon the generosity of my community for help.

You've all been so kind and generous to me in the past. And I know I have asked for a lot of help, but this has been, to put it succinctly, a very trying year or two for me.
