Help Stoney Park Rebuild After Devastating Flood

On Friday the 19th of March 2021, MOTHER NATURE at her finest produced a one-in-100-year weather event ripping through the Mid North Coast of New South Wales, causing extreme flooding no one alive today has ever seen or experienced before.
My dearest Friends family businesses, Stoney Park at Telegraph Point NSW was wiped out. Words can't describe the devastation left behind. The extreme force of the flooding waters speed left, not time for anyone to do anything. The force of the water annihilated everything in the Park as it ferociously ripped through our region. The SES (State Emergency Services) were notified to evacuate the customers from this incredibly dire situation.
The fierce force and pressure of the flood water has crumbled the Parks front entrance. All of the cabins were enveloped with water by over one metre, therefore, completely destroying all the internal furnishings and appliances. As one can see the internal roads throughout the Park have also been damaged (in need of major repair) by the incredible ferocity of the water. All the internal infrastructure around the Park such as Toilet and Laundry blocks, Office buildings, Camp Kitchens, on site managers quarters, Kiosk, sheds, boats have been damaged by the flood water and are all in need of re builds.
The Aqua Park itself from this extreme force of nature was lifted and ripped from the front lake smashing and jamming into the far back lakes shoreline. The entire infrastructure from the Aqua Park has either been destroyed or ripped away by the incredible force of water. The Ticket both and the front office had over a metre of water through them and will need to be refurbished.
Anyone who has had the pleasure in meeting the Stone Family, will know what an asset they are to our community. Not only do they employ over 60 young individuals giving them amazing starts to their careers. They have created a place where families, friends and work groups both young and old can go and experience lasting memories of good old fashion fun in the sun.
It is now our chance to help support the Stone family as they try to recover from what is lost. With an estimated refurbishment bill of 1.5 million dollars, Insurance companies WILL NOT HELP!!!
So I ask you all anyone who has ever visited and experienced or waiting to experience the amazing things Stoney Park has to offer to reach into their pockets and whatever you can contribute towards helping rebuild a bigger and better Stoney Park, whilst remembering how much fun you all had from just one experience and most of all, keeping alive one of the best tourist attractions in our region.
I know personally that the Stone Family would have gratitude beyond words if you can help. So please to keep everyone both young and old having fun in the sun, let’s all get behind the Stone Family so they can rebuild this amazing Park for us once more.
