Help Stop Iva's Pain

Iva came to us after running the street and roads of Iowa with no one to care for her.  She had been a stray long enough to become very thin, dehydrated and pregnant.

Under our care Iva gave birth to 8 beautiful puppies.  She was a wonderful mother and all her babies have been adopted.

Now was supposed to be Iva's turn for a new life in an adoptive home.  We noticed her limping a bit.  Very quickly it became worse.  We took her to see our veterinarian and she diagnosed hip dysplasia.  Iva had to have anesthesia to be examined as the pain is so great.  Her hip bone is completely out of the socket causing her to have an extreme limp and severe pain.

She has been through so much....from starvation, giving birth and now she needs surgery.  Please consider helping Iva get back on her feet and ultimately to a new home that will give her all the love she deserves.
