Help Stop This College Student From Having To Leave College
Donation protected

My name is Rami Amaro. I am raising funds to help an international student, Tlotlego, stay in college. Tlotlego is a friend of my son, who attends the same college - Gonzaga University, in Spokane, Washington. Tlotlego is from South Africa, and is studying here as an international student.
All donations will be transferred to to a US bank account for Tlotlego to go directly to her tuition at Gonzaga. If you have questions about this please do not hesitate to ask.
Without help, this weekend Tlotlego will be forced to move out of her dorm and give up on her college dreams. She is in an emergency situation and will have to withdraw from college and move out of her dorm if she can't pay off last year's tuition by the end of this week.
In the meantime, her family is across the globe and unable to be here with her. They have had an emergency situation and need time to come up with the payment, but they are in a "catch 22". She can't register while the debt is outstanding, but as long as she's not registered she can't apply for more financial aid based on the emergency circumstances. She can't get a student loan due to being an international student. She's stuck between a rock and a hard place - through no fault of her own.
She's a great student; she's active on campus; she's applied to be an RA; she has the most bubbly personality and a smile that lights up the sky. She doesn't want to give up on her dream. Her family intends to pay back anyone who helps her! I am asking for a hand up for them, not a hand out.
Please help me stop this student from having to leave college - heartbroken, downtrodden, overwhelmed and embarrassed. She traveled, alone, halfway across the world for this dream. Let's show her what we, as fellow humans, can do - and keep her dream alive!
As stated above, all funds will be used by Tlotlego to pay the her tuition at college.
I have researched international student loans and the family is accurate that they are rare, almost impossible in fact, and require a US cosignor. Other funding for international students is minimal - and while some wealthy countries such as Saudi Arabia have money for their students to study abroad. Sadly, Africa is not one of those countries. If we can just get her caught up and can ask for a financial aid revision and apply for as many scholarships as possible for next year.
Please help me save Tlotlego’s dream!
