Help Stop Water Leak-Replace Gurdwara Sahib Roof

Whenever it rains, water leaks through the roof at Gurdwara Sahib Khalsa Darbar, Charlotte. We have consulted with three different vendors. Given the roof has not been replaced since the early 2000s, repair is not an option. We need your help with the roof replacement project. The area that is leaking is near the Gurmat school classrooms and is frequented by kids. The replacement will cost around $56K vetted through multiple quotes. The fixes to the interior with ongoing leakage would cost another $9K.

As you know, the Gurdwara Sahib runs a Gurmat school attended by 40 kids and covers Punjabi/Gurmukhi, Gurbani Meanings, Virsa/History, Keertan, Tabla and Leadership classes. Weekly Deewan programs have a focus on Keertan as well as the Hukumnama translations. There are monthly Youth led Deewans, speeches, Kavitas and several sangat led initiatives. This is Sangat's Gurdwara Sahib and we need contribution help from everyone. The sewadaar families have raised around $35K. We need help with the remaining $30K.
