Help Stray Animals in Marsa Alam, Egypt!
Donation protected
Fourgive is a Swiss based foundation opening the first permanent (and much needed!) vet clinic in Marsa Alam, at the Red Sea in Egypt.
Our foundation has so far constructed a purpose-built and designed clinic over 2 floors from a shell to:
- consulting rooms
- surgery preparation room
- surgery room
- fully lead isolated x-ray room
- laboratory
- pharmacy room
- dental room
- grooming room
- 6 dog kennels + quarantine - cat kennels + quarantine
- seminar room for training and community education events
- accommodation for visiting vets and volunteers
We have already achieved so much and we can’t wait to open, but there are three things we are prepared for but don’t have funding for (yet!): Xray, Ultrasound and Inhalation Anesthesia Machine At the moment any medical cases requiring scans, xrays or inhalation have to be sent 3 hours away to Hurghada, which costs money and can delay the treatment of urgent cases, in addition to putting animals under further stress. By buying all three facilities together we can save money and we are now asking our community for help to raise the 30,000 Euros needed to fund them. Although our clinic will already make a huge difference to the lives of many street animals, this will make diagnosis and treatment quicker, more efficient and in the long term more cost effective.
