HELP Stretch Foley after BARN ROOF FALL INJURY!
Donation protected
Shannon "Stretch" Foley was helping a neighbor trim a tree from their barn. When it didn't fall away, he climbed up to get it loose, and the tree branch took him off the roof, ultimately landing on a rock retaining wall!
He's been in the hospital since December 13 and will be spending a LONG time recovering.
Stretch grew up, went to school and works in Bremerton/Kitsap. He also has many riding friends in the community as well.
He is a father, a brother, a son, a friend, and fellow rider who almost got taken out by being a good neighbor. Stretch is lucky to still be with us, but it's going to be a LONG journey to recovery. He has severe spinal injuries.
No work, means bills are coming, co-payments, and the necessities will need a helping hand.
All money raised will go directly to Stretch. (other than GoFundMe Fees)
This came from his FB page:
"OK so just let everyone no. On Wednesday 13 not long before dark. I was helping my neighbor a cut a tree down. After cutting it I realized that it wasn't going to come down. I got a latter and got up on top of the barn to help it go. It went but at the same time I believe it twisted and another branch knocked me off the roof. I fell around 35 " they believe. Hit the lower roof of the barn. Bounce off that and ended up landing on the rock retaining wall. I layed there for about 1.5 hrs before I was found. I've been in the hospital since. I got some new hardware add and it will be a long road. But at this moment I'm alive. Thanks to all that have reached out."
Please help by donating, sharing, and helping spreading the word.
