Help Students and Victims of Oxford High School

Today, November 30, 2021 the unthinkable happened. Oxford High School was the site of a mass shooting that claimed the lives of three innocent students and injured about 8 other students and teacher. Oxford is a close-knit community who supports each other wholeheartedly. As an alumni of Oxford High School and member of the community, I am absolutely heartbroken over this senseless tragedy. School is supposed to be a safe place for all students, teachers and staff. I always felt safe within the walls of OHS and it breaks my heart that these kids will no longer feel that security. Three families unknowingly gave their last hug and kiss and exchanged their final words as their kids went off to school today. 8 families have a long road ahead from recovering from injuries and 1,700 families will be forever healing and supporting their students through this traumatic event.

 

All donations will go directly to the Oxford Community Memorial and Victims Fund through Oxford Bank to victim's families and the community affected by this senseless tragedy.
