Wecome to DayStar International School!
My name is Nana, cousin to wonderful Bishop Nikki Bruce and Lady Pastor Francine Bruce who left their sunny home in Ghana eight years ago to serve the families in Madagascar through ministry and serving the community.
They went with a vision and dream to build an affordable english speaking school for all, and five years, 2 kids and an ordination later, Nikki and Francine have grown the school from an excel business plan and a little class of 11 to a self-sustaining school with a bustling family of over 100 children!
They rent their current building.
It is need of roof repair, and the classrooms are overflowing as more and more parents choose to send their kids to this school.
So, to celebrate their 5 years, they now want to build a permanent school building to grow from serving 100 to 500 children and want to raise the first $30,000 to put down a deposit to secure the land to build their own school.
DayStar International School in Madagascar is such a blessing making high quality education in English affordable for all so they can help more bright children in Mahajanga, Tana and beyond shine like stars!
The whole project will cost $300,000.
Nikki and Francine are looking for your help to raise the first 10% of the total so they can put the deposit on the land.
This is how the costs break down.
- $150,000 for a hectare of land - large enough to eventually build a school for 1000 children!
- $100,000 to build the school complex with modern class rooms, play areas, a laboratory, a gym, library, technology room
- $50,000 to equip the school with laptops, books, other educational and science laboratory facilities
Please help Nikki and Francine and the students of DayStar International make a start, raise the first $30,000 and build their new school!
Thank You!!!
