Help Studio House Find a New Home

Hi, our names our Taylor, Shannon and Michelle. We are students and staff members at Studio House. Studio House has provided us with so much more than just dance. We have met some of our greatest friends through the studio, we have gained a confidence like no other, and most importantly re-found our love for dance. Studio House is a safe haven for many adults. Regardless of your age, size, background or ability, everyone who walks through its doors leaves behind their worries, struggles, and challenges. At Studio House, differences are celebrated, and unity is embraced. It's a place where passion meets purpose, where dreams are nurtured, and where friendships are forged through shared experiences on the dance floor. Whether you are just beginning or seasoned dancer, all are encouraged to explore their potential, unleash their creativity, and embark on a journey of self-discovery. If you have ever felt a sense of wanting to belong, Studio House offers that safe space to you with open arms. The inclusion felt is unmatched and as an 18+ studio, the sense of belonging for being exactly who you are is something that everybody on a human level searches for. Your search to belong is over the minute you walk through the doors and say yes.

With the rising costs of the economy, and the lease of our studio space coming to an end. It has become very challenging for the studio owner to find a new space that will work for over 200 active students. Studio House has been in survival mode for 3.5 years now, and the owner has continued to fight for all of her students because she knows how important this space is for everyone.

It's now our turn to hopefully give her a break from fighting so hard and to show her how supported and loved she is, and how special her space truly is. Every dollar counts. If you could help donate to a space that is safe for everyone who walks through the doors it would mean the world to us and her. We would all crumble if she had to shut her doors.

The funds raised through this Go Fund Me will go towards finding our new place to call home, and to help keep Studio House Barrie running.
