Help Displaced Sudanese Families Pay for Food and Medicine
Donation protected
With the Janjaweed (in English it's the Rapid Support Forces or RSF) and the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) fighting, shootings, bombings, and airstrikes have become the norm. With the current war, prices of food, clean water, and medicine have skyrocketed beyond affordable for my family. Meanwhile, jobs have become unstable and cannot sustain these hikes in prices. Even the children have to work for less than $50 a month to pitch in for necessities.
My uncle Ali Abdulrahman (79), his wife Amal Abbas (67), his son Abdulrahman (40) and his mother-in law Naeema (90) are still in Sudan because they cannot afford to escape to Egypt due to price gouging. They also have more family members than money and elderly family who can't withstand the difficult journey. But while in Sudan they need help affording even food, water, or medicine.
There's also my husband's brothers, who are in the same situation. There's Abdeen Mohamedzein , his wife and his 5 children, Zakaria Mohamedzein (67), his wife Al Toma (59), his daughter Reemaz (36) and her 4 children, and his daughter Basamat (24) who remain still in Sudan.
My husband and I try to send as much money as we can to help, but it's only a drop in the bucket. Please help us protect my family in Sudan from the struggles of living in war.
Thank you for your support.
