Please Help Sue and Her Sons Rebuild Their Lives

Hi, I'm fundraising for my dear friend and colleague, Sue McGovern. On Wednesday, September 1, Sue, her youngest son, and the family dog took shelter in their basement as the EF2 tornado ripped directly through their neighborhood in Fort Washington, PA. (If you caught the CBS 3 news spot the next day, it was broadcast from in front of their house.) Luckily, Sue, her son, and their dog were physically unharmed; however, what they emerged to after the tornado passed over them was complete destruction. Her car is damaged beyond repair, and they are indefinitely displaced from their home. She and her boys--one a junior in college, and the other a senior in high school--have spent the past week literally picking up the pieces of their lives and trying to form a plan on how to rebuild whatever it is that will be their new future. Sue is one of the most selfless, beautiful, caring people you will ever meet. She spends her life helping others. And most importantly, she is one of the best mothers I know. Her boys are her world, and making sure they will be okay and have a place to call home is a top priority. If you are able, please consider donating to this wonderful family.
