Help Windy River Farm Build a Farrier Shed for Rescue Horses

Hi my name is Sue, I volunteer at a small rescue at Windy River Farms, (BG Ranch and Rescue) We are located in S. New Berlin , NY. We try to help the local Community as much as we can.

We are in desperate need of a farrier shed. This would house the Stocks and cabinets that have been generously donated already, which not only helps with large draft horses that have already been through who knows how many auctions,most have been worked hard and then thrown away , no longer of use. Many are underweight, ulcers from stress of auctions, most have some kind of feet or leg issues, or other health issues. Not only would this be beneficial for the drafts, it could be a lifesaver for other animals that are scared and stressed that come in from all sorts of different situations, it can keep them and handlers safe when bandaging, giving shots or even surgical work.

This would enable this rescue not to have to travel already stressed out animals elsewhere, which means less stress and can get them on the road to healing and healthy sooner.

We're looking to build either 10x15 or 10x20 building.

Personally I volunteer, as I am a horse lover, I have been to auctions and so sad to see what they go through. I believe strongly in Tammy's mission to save and find forever homes, while doing all she can to make them healthy and happy.
