Help Sugar Daddy Cookies Open its New Location

Greetings! My name is William Lewis. Alongside my beautiful wife, Meijah, I am the owner of Sugar Daddy Cookies. We are attempting to raise $50,000 to open up multiple locations in the Atlanta area. Your donations, along with the #blackbusinessgrant , will go towards operation costs such as rent, new equipment, cosmetic repairs, advertising, marketing and promotion, as well as the start-up cost to get our product in grocery stores across the country.

Sugar Daddy Cookies was created during the pandemic. Bored in the house, I decided to make my wife some cookies because all the stores were closed. Although I had never baked, I followed the recipe on the Quaker Oats box to the letter. She tasted one cookie and said, "I can sell these." She packaged them up and took them to her preschool, where she worked. Within an hour, the cookies were completely sold out! When the teachers repeatedly asked for our cookies, we knew we had a business. Since then, we have developed our signature recipes that make Sugar Daddy Cookies unique from any other cookie company.

After the success at the daycare, we sat around and brainstormed for a name. After hours of some of the worst names you could think of, Meijah looked up and said, "I got it! Sugar Daddy Cookies." The name came as a way to mock our age difference (Meijah is fifteen years younger than me). We sold our first dozen on Valentine's Day 2021. Since then, we have been vendors at some of the biggest festivals and conferences in Atlanta, such as Juneteenth at Centennial Park (2021 & 2022), BeRaggae (2021 & 2022), and most recently, Investfest (2022). In November 2021, we opened our first location in Cumberland Mall, and we are slated to open in Lenox Mall in December 2022.
