Help Sugar Heal from Chemo Poisoning

Donation protected
Hello everyone, to all friends and family, near and far. It's not easy for me to open up about my struggles, but recent events have taught me the importance of vulnerability and reaching out for support. It took me four years to talk publicly about having breast cancer and the triumphs and losses.

On October 3rd, just last week, my beloved therapy dog “Sugar” got poisoned. Sugar is 3 years old this past July; he is still so young and such a beautiful spirit. It wasn’t typical poison; it was liquid chemo. A family member has skin cancer. Sugar, the next morning, licked the skin where the chemo was on. This medicine is deadly.

We are fortunate that Sugar is alive. He does not have neurological damage, although the chemo had burnt his intestines, and he is in pain, lethargic, and has 5 medications around the clock.

He has been my greatest teacher, and the lessons of unconditional love keep us both loving deeper. Sugar is a joyful pup who loves everyone. He usually hangs out with the sons. He has become extremely clingy to me, his human mama.

His expenses are very high, and I’ve started a GoFundMe to help Sugar get well again. The burns need to heal, and so do the ulcers that were caused. Everything costs at the time of service. I am asking for your support to help me save Sugar.

Thank you and the deepest gratitude.
