Help Suman Waiba Tamang for Kidney Transplant

Namaste everyone,

I, Suman Waiba Tamang, 26 years old came to the United States as an International

student with big hopes and dreams. I am currently living in Belmont, California and doing my Bachelors in Business Administration from College of San Mateo,California. Like every other individual, I too had a dream to complete my education and support my family.

Everything went normal till last December, when I found that I have a Chronic

Kidney Disease and was at the final stage of this disease. Both of my kidneys have been

severely damaged. The doctors told me that the only way for me to survive was either

perform a kidney transplant or go through dialysis. I have had my name listed on a kidney

recipient waiting list at UCSF. The wait time could be around 5-7 years. According to the

doctors, I am also anemic and uremic. It has been a very rough year. I go through 9 hours of dialysis at home every day. I cannot work, and I fear for the well-being of my 70-year-

old parents, who still depend on me as, I am the only son and the financial backbone of

my family.

Hence, I am planning to go to India for the transplant, where the total cost is assumed to

be around 50-60 lakhs, and this go-fund-me is the only last option I have left as I cannot

afford the costs of kidney transplant there.

I hope my family, friends and well wishers will understand my situation and help save my

life in this foreign land. I want to overcome this disease and live more for my family. Any

help will be highly appreciated in this needful situation.I would be very grateful for

any help.
