Help Sumaya's Cat Hala Get Surgery

My best friend and roommate, Sumaya, has a lovely little cat named Hala. Unfortunately, Hala ate a piece of string and now needs surgery to remove it.

Sumaya only has enough money for rent this coming month and would need to go into debt to pay for the procedure. Sumaya's parents cannot help financially because they have two younger children to care for.

While Sumaya worries for Hala's health, the financial burden makes her most anxious. I want to show Sumaya that she has a community willing to help her in times of need. All contributions are greatly appreciated, no matter how big or small.
