Help supply an American nurse in Ukraine

Donation protected
My name is Calvin, and I’ve been a registered nurse in the U.S. for the past ten years. I worked in emergency rooms and trauma centers for my first seven, and for the last three have transported the sick by ambulance. Now I’m going to Ukraine to help our friends in Eastern Europe.

It pains me to ask for help, but I cannot do this alone. I am flying to Poland the third week of March, and from there will head wherever I am needed most. My employer has been generous enough to provide me with extra equipment and medicine, and the time off to help a country as the world stands by. I have no doubt that what I can fit on a plane will not be enough, and your help will allow me to resupply where I can. I’m an experienced nurse, and I know my skills can save lives, but I’m only as good as the tools I have at my side.

I don’t know what to expect in Ukraine, and I don’t speak the language. I’ve never been in a war. But if you want to donate to help a nation in need, I ask that you consider donating to a real person who will be there on the ground, giving medical care and training civilians to do the same. The money goes where I go, and gets actual supplies and care to help actual people.
