Help Support a Family of 14 to Evacuate Gaza

My name is Adi and I am located in London, Ontario. I am fundraising to support my friend Ahmed and his extended family of 14 to evacuate Gaza as soon as possible. Ahmed is a humanitarian aid organizer in Gaza, Palestine who has been working tirelessly to provide food for schools and displaced families, on top of providing support for his family. A state of emergency, help me evacuate my family from Gaza

"Dear everyone who cares about humanity,

I am writing this to you in a time of urgent need. My family of fourteen people and I are currently living in Gaza, facing unimaginable circumstances. My family and I are desperately seeking your support and assistance in evacuating my family to safety.

The situation in Gaza has become increasingly bad, and I fear for the safety of my family and children, as well as for my brother’s family and children. Since October 7th, my family has been evacuated inside Gaza countless times, back and forth, witnessed death countless times, and yet managed to miraculously survive. For the past 32 hours, my family has been trapped in Rafah. They miraculously managed to escape to Mawasi Khan Yunis, leaving everything behind, saving only their lives. I desperately need to evacuate my family and my brother’s family from the Gaza Strip to safety far away from destruction and death. These are pictures of my family's home that was bombed and destroyed.

Cost Break Down:

The specific campaign targets $30,000 CAD (20,300 EU) of a total goal of $200,000 EU (please note, there is a conversation to CAD) to facilitate the evacuation of my family to Egypt. Below is the distribution of funds. Funds are divided to coordinate permits and crossing fees:

$70,000 is required to cover expenses associated with obtaining permits to leave Gaza and the crossing fees required at the Egypt-Gaza border in Rafah. This amount amounts to $5,000 per person. We will give priority to the children, first by providing a place to stay in Egypt, as well as providing food, as well as treating my brother who suffers from stomach pain, as well as hearing loss, and treating my sister-in-law who is sick.

Distribution of costs:

1- Exit costs for each person: $5,000 x 14 = $70,000

2. In addition, $40,000 for the treatment of my sick sister-in-law and my brother, who suffers from hearing loss and stomach pain, as well as their stay in the hospital, and their treatments after leaving the hospital, and providing special food for them because they are sick.

The remaining $90,000 will cover the following:

4. Residence in Cairo for 3-4 weeks while waiting for the papers

5- Airline tickets for 14 people

6-Settlement expenses for the first two months until finding a job - Rent, including furniture, winter equipment so we can adapt to the weather, health coverage, and costs of living

7- Accommodation costs
