I have been going to Main St. Annex for many years for my hair salon. The story of this situation as a small business breaks my heart.
During this pandemic, I’d like to support the small businesses that I know are having a hard time due to the strict shelter-in-place orders. I value this small business and would like to do my part to show them they are loved and supported, and we appreciate everything they are doing to stay afloat during this devastating time. If you are able to give any amount, please donate to these amazing young women.
The owners, Jasmine Ashtiani and Teresa Hughes, were presented with an amazing opportunity and purchased Main St Annex Salon, where they had worked for several years, in November 2019. They both have spent countless hours and funds doing what they can to implement the new COVID-19 standards and regulations to not only keep their salon a safe place but also their clients and their families. So they are buying out the previous owner, paying rent with little or no income coming in.
The Salons were initially shut down from March 17th, 2020 through August 30th, 2020. (6 1/2 months) With much relief and excitement the salon was allowed to open, given strict guidelines, on August 31st. Unfortunately, to only be short lived and forced to closed just before the holiday season on Dec 4th, 2020.
Now open with 20% capacity. Feel free to call and make an appointment.
