Help support Mass & Cass Holiday Meals at AHOPE
Donation protected
AHOPE is the City of Boston’s harm reduction program, serving drug users, many of whom are also experiencing homelessness. They are situated in the heart of Mass and Cass and are one of the largest supports for people in that neighborhood.
On November 23rd, they plan on hosting Thanksgiving for more than 150 of their clients. For the last couple of years, the AHOPE staff have been through a lot, facing two epidemics and the tragic loss of one of their team members. The staff usually cooks themselves, but this year, they can’t and I’d like to help get the dinner catered. The same will be done for a Christmas meal in December.
All money will go to buy food and supplies for people at Mass and Cass. Any extra funds, will be used to buy them additional supplies they need for the people they serve.
I previously served as Policy Director for Boston’s Office of Recovery Services and will ensure that every dollar is spent how frontline staff wants it to be.
