Support Sterilization & Vet Care Initiative in Nicaragua!

Please help with our pet sterilization and veterinary health initiative in Salinas Grandes, Nicaragua! Over 95 dogs and cats have been sterilized so far!

** May 24, 2024: we are looking for donors to support 2 dogs with TVT that require 3-4 rounds of chemotherapy each. Each treatment is $70 USD (~$95 CAD). The prognosis is good with treatment. TVT is a contagious venereal cancer in dogs...it is important to treat these dogs not only for their health but for the greater dog population.

Since January 2023, the initiative has been very successful!

-> Over 95 dogs and cats have been sterilized, vaccinated and dewormed

-> Many more have received other life-saving interventions

-> No cost to community members

-> And we are just getting started!

We are excited to continue to partner with a volunteer veterinary group Estoy Aqui Nicaragua (www.EstoyAquiNicaragua.org, not officially registered) and community members to sterilize, vaccinate and deworm the pets of local who can not easily afford these services.
