Help support Aidan Osti's medical expenses

On January 20th, Aidan Osti (17) was admitted to Tahoe Forest Hospital (TFH) in Truckee, CA with a high fever and complaining of severe back pain. Unable to find exact cause, he was sent home. 24 hours later he returned to TFH, was quickly diagnosed with pneumonia, septic shock, and organ failure and Care Flighted to Renown Hospital in Reno, NV. He was further diagnosed with Group A Streptococcus (Group A strep) and by Streptococcal Toxic Shock Syndrome (STSS). STSS is a rare and serious bacterial infection that develops rapidly. 11 days later and after a serious battle, Aidan is still in the Renown Pediatric ICU, but is doing better every day this week and doctors expect him to have a full recovery with rehabilitation.

Aidan's parents have not worked at their small business during this time, and will be facing huge expenses. Living in a small ski town, much of the care provided to Aidan over the last two weeks will be out-of-pocket and out-of-network. With emergency services, Care Flight, the hospital time and services, and rehabilitation services, we are estimating this could be in the $50,000 range. Any help for the Ostis during this incredibly hard time would be so greatly appreciated.
