Help support Amy & Family As She Battles Cancer

On the 27th January 2021 at just 28 years old, our beautiful friend Amy was diagnosed with stage 4 cervical cancer. Instead of spending the last few months of her maternity leave with her 10 month old baby boy, she is now preparing to spend the last few months of her life with him after being diagnosed with ‘long months’ left to live. 

As a mother, your greatest fear is leaving your children and family behind, and unfortunately for Amy, she is living all mothers’ greatest nightmare. This is why as friends, and parents ourselves, we have set this Go Fund me up for Amy as no woman should have to face this reality alone

Having started as a 5cm tumour in her cervix it has since spread to her lymph nodes in her pelvis, aorta and neck region. As this cancer is inoperable and incurable, Amy needs aggressive chemotherapy to prolong her life and spend time with her baby boy and husband.

As Amy bravely battles through this, bills continue to still mount up and need to be paid. Her (newly) husband James has become main carer to both Amy & their 10 month old son, Finley.  Thankfully both Amy & James have kind & considered employers but we hoped we could raise funds to help support them financially through this horrific time. 

We wish we could wave a magic wand to help Amy overcome this, and this Go Fund me is the only way we can help give her the greatest gift of (stress-free) time with her family.

It is important for us to say that Amy & James never asked us to do this, but as their friends we are desperately trying to help them as best as we can.
