Help, support and grow: Funds for Rotherham Hindu Community.

Hi, my name is Sachin Tammewar and I am running Sheffield Half Marathon on 23rd March 2025 to raise funds for our Rotherham Hindu Community (RHC).

Our community needs our support, help and donation for its growth.

I have always enjoyed running, but I never dared to run any distance longer than 10 kilometers. With a little bit of encouragement from my friends and self motivation , I decided to run my first half marathon in 2023, and it was a truly exhilarating experience. I am running half marathon Sheffield on 23rd March 2025 rather too late to update you but I guess its never too late for doing good things.

To make this challenge more meaningful, I have decided to run for Rotherham Hindu Community (RHC). RHC has done some incredible events in the last few years running cultural events and activities for children and adults within the community. RHC has done some exceptional hands-on initiatives ranging from bringing together the Hindu community positively and to celebrate culturally important festivals that bring us and diverse culture together. Some of the events they have done with self funding, the goal is to bring the communities together and celebrate the diversity, but they need our support to help raise funds so they can do these events and community projects. RHC can only achieve the goals with the help of generous donations from supporters and community members, hence I have taken the initiative for this good cause and support our RHC. Are we together to support?
