Help Support Anne Marie Chisholm

As if 2020 hasn’t been challenging enough, Anne Marie Chisholm, Antigonish was dealt the added blow of a Lung Cancer diagnosis early this Spring. What started out as an X-ray for a shoulder issue turned into the devastating news that she needed to have part of her lung & lymph nodes removed. She has had radiation, chemotherapy along with surgery and is now recovering at home. Once she’s had some time to heal she will need to resume chemotherapy. She’s made many trips to Halifax and will need to continue these trips as her journey continues. Sadly she had to give up her Home Daycare soon after and has been without an income since. She is heartbroken as she loves the littles she took care of each day. Anne Marie is a wife, daughter, sister, aunt, friend and the mother of 3 beautiful young ladies who give her the strength and determination to face this challenge with grace and courage. Her daughters, her husband Donald along with her beautiful extended family and many friends are walking with her on this journey. We as her friends have started this group to help alleviate at least one of the stressors she has to deal with, financial. With her loss of income and trips to Halifax along with many other expenses associated we know she could use our support.
