Help support Ben's Chili Bowl

I was telling my wife last night that the first place I want to go when the COVID-19 restrictions are lifted is Ben’s Chili Bowl. This morning I heard the restaurant was struggling due the coronavirus pandemic. To me, this was a home for me during my four years in Medical School at Howard University from 2004-2008. There were the late nights studying, the long clinical shifts, and many challenges along the way, one place I could always count on was Ben’s. The staff new me, felt like family, the food was always fresh and just so good, best chili cheese dogs in the world. I could watch and talk about sports (we watched many Kobe and Lakers games and enjoyed the discussions about if Kobe was the next greatest after Jordan), politics (my final year was when Barack Obama made his moves for presidency), and just hanging out with friends. Now with the family (pic below), we always make sure to visit, eat, hang out at Ben's, and we hope that continues.
100% of the money will go to Ben’s Chili Bowl to support the restaurant and employees during these challenging times. This is a place that means a lot to me and helped me through some important years of my professional growth, my kids now have made this one of their go to spots when visiting D.C.
