Help Support Bob Goble During a Challenging Time

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind-hearted Strangers,

I hope this message finds you well. My name is Bob Goble, you may have met me when I ran the 'Ready Ride" service in Huntington between 2008 to 2011. While this is extremely humiliating I am reaching out to you today with a heavy heart and a hopeful spirit. Due to chronic medical conditions, I have been unable to work and am currently facing severe financial hardship. While I have assistance with food and medical care, and have applied for SSDI, I am struggling to cover my basic living expenses, including rent and utilities, while waiting on a decision from Social Security. Unfortunately, my family is no longer in a position to provide the support I need.

At the end of 2019 I was sick with C19 and had Bronchitis for the next 4 months that never really went away, then in October of 2021 I had a heart attack and 2 stents put in my heart. Over the past 3 years, I have been diagnosed with COPD and Heart Disease as well as kidney disfunction, and it has made it extremely difficult for me to do the normal daily activities like cooking, dishes, and self care or to maintain a steady income as I am out of breath with even light physical exertion. As a result, I am now facing the daunting reality of not being able to meet my essential financial obligations.

I am humbly asking for your assistance during this incredibly difficult time. Your generous support will help me keep a roof over my head, stay current with my utilities, and focus on managing my health without the added stress of financial instability.
