Help support Cattie Fleming during her cancer battle

Hi! My name is Bridget and I, along with our friends, are making this gofundme for our best friend Cattie Fleming.

Cattie is the core of our group and in the last year her husband, Dan, their two beautiful babies and Cattie have been through more than anyone at the young age of 35 deserves.

Just last year Dan found himself hospitalized shortly after Christmas with a life threatening event and thankfully was able to pull through, however required quite a bit of medical treatment. This of course put a large financial burden on them as the medical bills piled up very quickly. They never asked for anything and always were more worried about putting others out than themselves.

Fast forward just about 11 months later and Cattie has found herself hospitalized with devastating news. Cattie was having ongoing pelvic discomfort and other symptoms which finally led her to the ER. It was there with a CT scan that she received devastating news. A tumor was found in her colon (now known rectum) , a mass on her liver , as well as lung nodules. They quickly transferred her to cooper hospital where she underwent surgery and currently waiting biopsy results to diagnose her with what they believe to be colo rectal cancer. She is currently still hospitalized and will require ongoing testing and procedures to fully get a picture as to what they are dealing with and come up with the best game plan for treatment. She already received her port and will likely start chemo in the upcoming weeks. We are all devastated and we know that we cannot take the emotional, mental and physical pain away from Cattie , Dan , and their children, however we are trying in any way possible to take the financial burden from them.

Cattie can take on any fight and we all have her back to get her through this very difficult time. Her and Dan ask for nothing and never want to “burden” others and they deserve all the help they can get !
