Help SUPPORT Chris Swaim and his family
Donation protected
Hello friends,
My name is Troy Sanders, and I am one of many who are lucky enough to consider Chris Swaim a dear friend of mine.
Chris is a long standing Brother of Local 157 Plumbers & Steamfitters, a loving husband to Shelley and a caring father of two daughters Skyla and Jacqueline and son Samuel.
Words do Chris no justice in defining the person that he is. If you have met Chris personally on the job, or through acquaintances he leaves an impression.
His respect and compassion for others is contagious and he truly inspires others to be the best version of themselves.
As a family man, as a Union Brother and as a friend in general this man is second to none.
As you may know Chris and his family are experiencing what every family fears. Chris was diagnosed with a extremely rare type of soft cell sarcoma near the middle of December 2023. In the month of January Chris began the battle with inpatient chemo therapy. Chemotherapy consists of one week admitted to the hospital while receiving treatment followed by two weeks of rest and recovery.
Recently it was decided that Chris will move forward with surgery removing the growth in his left arm and will receive radiation as well as part of the treatment.
During this time Chris is not able to work with the complications that come with chemo therapy and will require a long recovery time following surgery.
During these hard times it is essential for us to show Chris and his family support and help relieve the pressure of day to day expenses as well as medical expenses incurred during the process.
I very humbly write this message seeking support for my friend and his family as they navigate through this difficult time in their lives.
All donations will be received by Chris and Shelley directly.
