Help support climate action in Greece!

We are filmmaking students at Tulane University who had the incredible opportunity this summer to travel to Greece to partner with the non-profit Ecogenia. We spent a month creating films documenting the efforts and stories of the people behind Ecogenia: fellow young people with a vision of sustainable impact in Greece.

We had the opportunity to immerse ourselves in a small rural village in the mountains and work alongside the Ecogenia cohort group. For five days, we collaborated to create films documenting the village and the cohort’s work. This experience allowed us to tell the stories of the villagers, the cohort members, Ecogenia’s mission, and our partnership with them.

We are fundraising for Ecogenia so they may continue their impact through civic engagement and environmental service. Our time in Greece was deeply inspiring, and we hope to be able to contribute to this work in the long run. This campaign is a way

to support their ongoing work, so they can continue to do what they do best - mobilize Greek youth in practical climate action projects.

In doing so, we also want to ensure more Tulane students have the incredible and unique experience we had and can benefit from transnational partnerships and exchanges.

Your support will allow Ecogenia to continue their work and deliver on their mission to provide every young person in Greece to complete a service term in communities across the country.

Ecogenia is in its beginning stages, and their team is working hard to build the case for a national youth climate corps. Your contribution will support their ongoing program development as they embark on a new program offering for cohort members in 2024, which will mobilize youth for wildfire prevention and natural disaster preparedness.
