Help support Dave and his family

Help support Dave, Kieren and their children as they suffer through this terribly long journey.

 

Over the past 3 and a half years, Dave has suffered with ongoing complications and infections since having a total shoulder replacement surgery back in 2018.

Since having the initial surgery, Dave has been through 30+ operations on the same shoulder in an attempt to eradicate the infection.

Dave has been back and forth to Brisbane to have these surgeries staying weeks away at a time, away from his family.

Kieren tries to get down to Brisbane to see Dave but it is not always possible due to the financial stress.

This family are living off 1 income to disperse between household bills, supporting the family, prescriptions and medical expenses and travel and accomodation when possible to visit Dave in Brisbane.

The Waugh family have not reached out or asked for support over the past 3 years.

However, with everything they have gone through, we would like to relieve them of the financial stress to allow them to focus on Dave and his eventual recovery.

Dave is currently in Brisbane hospital and has been for the past several weeks.

They thought they were nearly at the end of this nightmare of a journey but unfortunately more complications have arrose and he still has a long road ahead of him.
