David "Byrd" Thomas Crane, 35, passed away peacefully Wednesday, June 22, 2021 after an extended illness.
David was born in Columbus, OH on June 9, 1986. He lived in Pittsburgh, PA for several years before moving to Bluffton, SC.
Byrd enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. On the weekends you could find him at the beach, typically with a fishing pole in his hands. Byrd loved to spend his evenings lounging in a hammock, floating in a pool, or sitting around a fire with friends talking about life. He was always up for an adventure. He loved to explore new places and try new foods.
He truly did, "Live the Dream."
David is survived by his parents, Chris and Gloria Crane of Bluffton; his brothers, Matthew, Timothy, and Mark; his maternal grandparents, Tom and Brenda Wedge; his paternal grandparents; Betty Miller, his ex-wife Olivia Crane and many dear friends.
David is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Den Crane; and his great grandparents, Wilber and Ruby Miller.
This GoFundMe is to help with his brother's medical expenses and care.
For those of you that do not know, David had three brothers that are all Autistic and require care.
His parents are working on getting the boys into a program in Bluffton that will help them in learning, "everyday skills." These programs are very expensive.
David cared about his family first and foremost and worried about his brothers.
All monies raised will be given to David's mom and dad (Gloria and Chris) to use on care for his brothers health as they deem necessary.
