Help Support Dean's Fight Against Cancer.

We, Dean's relative's friends and community, appreciate any support you can offer to help Dean in his goal of regaining his health and wellness in his battle against cancer.

Dean was diagnosed in September with liver cancer. After a recent hospital visit in Halifax, it has been determined that Dean needs surgery off-island immediately. Followed by lengthy treatments. This will require off-island travel, accommodations, medications and other financial obligations.

As many of you know, Dean has had a very challenging year health-wise due to heart & lung operations, and lengthy hospital stays. Dean has worked in his community's fishing and trucking for several years. But due to health has not been able to work most of the last year. We are reaching out on behalf of Dean, his loving wife Sandy and stepsons Matt and Nathan.
