Help Support Derrick Kick Cancer’s Ass

Hi my name is Amanda, and I am fundraising for Derrick Wilson. Derrick is 18 years old and 3 months ago was told he has stage 4 lymphoma. That’s hard to hear and accept from anyone but more difficult for a 18 y/o just starting to live his life. He got accepted into Polytech school in Lakeland and was starting to merge into adulthood. And then it was all taken from him in a blink of an eye. He had to drop out of school so he could immediately start chemo to fight this long battle ahead. Derrick is the most loving, caring, selfless person I know and is always so positive so we know this battle will be a win but it’s a long road to the finish line. He has started a very aggressive chemo schedule and between Dr appts, lab work and chemo has a FULL schedule. His mother Lori is doing everything possible for him but will also be missing more work than normal. I am asking for donations to help with any extra medical bills, food, things to help keep Derrick’s spirits up, and home bills so Lori can focus on Derrick as much as possible. Derrick has been a huge part of the community since he was a small child and I know he has the support of everyone.
