Help Support Elsie Hendricks' Funeral Costs

Hi all,

It's Kristy, and I am coming to you today on behalf of my family.

My grandmother, Elsie Hendricks, always told us that we would not have anything to worry about when the time came to bury her. If you know my grandmother at all, you know that she truly thought things were handled. She would have never left us with a financial burden on purpose.

Unfortunately, we are finding out that is not the case. She did buy her plot, and her headstone is paid for. Apparently, she only had Term Life Insurance that expired in 2020.

Even at 90 years old, she still worked. She worked a part-time job at Giant Eagle as a cashier. We are waiting to hear if there was anything paid into any life insurance with them, but again... it's a waiting game.

My family has been able to come up with what is needed for the down payment to make her funeral happen. My uncle and cousins have been able to scrape some funds together, and I have taken from some of the funds that you all have been gracious enough to donate to Rob's cause.

My uncle is looking into getting a loan taken out, and we can try to pay him back with monthly installments. We have opted for the least expensive options that we can for her funeral, but regardless, this is never cheap.

I come to you today to ask to please help us relieve this burden off my family. If you can help in any way, we would be forever grateful.

I am going to set my cousin up as the beneficiary of this GoFundMe, so that she can help my uncle as he doesn't really do the internet.
