Help Support Emily's Journey

In August of 2021, Emily was diagnosed for the second time with high grade osteosarcoma, a rare bone cancer. While her original diagnosis involved invasive chemotherapy, fertility treatment and limb salvage surgery, unfortunately this time her only option was hip disarticulation – amputation of her entire left leg, all the way to her hip.

We are creating this fundraiser with a goal to help significantly reduce the financial burden this surgery is having on Emily and her family. The largest expense being a prosthetic leg which has been projected to cost as much as $75,000. In addition to the prosthetic, there are also many different types of therapy, equipment, and medications necessary to enable successful recovery and ensure a better quality of life.

Emily is a positive, hilarious, kind, and beautiful girl who deserves to be so much more than her cancer diagnosis and surgeries. Please help us support Emily so that she can manage the challenges ahead of her, while keeping her focus on living life.
