Help Support Emily’s Journey to Recovery!

You can’t know my little sister Emily and not completely love her. Personality out of this world and would do anything for the people she loves.

Seemingly out of nowhere, she has been faced with some major medical issues. Optic neuritis with lesions on her brain. Pending diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis. She has about 20% vision in her right eye, unsure if it will actually return to normal. Having two babies at home, things are feeling impossible for her.

Being sent to a specialist in Houston late next week, meanwhile facing numerous testing and procedures at the hospital.

As of now, she is told she can’t get back to work for at LEAST a month. She has a huge support system including her husband, Colby. He is staying with her every night but is still having to work while she is in the hospital. Two babies, a house, bills, LIFE in general, now new medical bills that will surely start piling up.. it’ll be hard enough on one income, they cannot afford to have him get partial pay with FMLA.

So many people have been reaching out, wanting to know how to help. Their main concern is really the financial side. She really needs to focus on her health but the stress of the things she cannot control is terrible.
