Help Support Esme and Her Family

We are reaching out to ask for your support for an incredible little fighter, baby Esme, and her amazing family. Emse and her twin brother reggie were both born prematurely both of them being in hospital for months before finally reggie was allowed to come home but our darling esme has had a tough battle from the day toni found out she was pregnant here's a little insight of esme's life so far

Esme’s journey has been anything but easy. She was born with Tracheoesophageal Fistula (TOF) and Oesophageal Atresia (OA), meaning her esophagus wasn’t connected, leaving her unable to swallow, and part of it was dangerously attached to her windpipe. At just one day old, she underwent major surgery to separate her esophagus from her windpipe. However, she was too small to have it fully connected, meaning she couldn’t swallow or have bottles for the first nine weeks of her life. Instead, she was fed through a gastrostomy tube, which she will rely on until she’s at least a year old.

On top of this, Esme was also born with a cleft palate, which will cause ongoing difficulties with feeding and may impact her speech as she grows. She has a tethered spine, and while the full effects on her movement and walking are still unknown, it’s something her family must closely monitor.

Esme also has a hemangioma on her right eye, which may affect her vision and could require surgery. She was born with a hole in her heart and a heart murmur, which doctors are keeping a close watch on.

Most recently, Esme has started having seizures, and while doctors are working hard to understand what’s happening, there are still many unknowns. She has spent a total of 81 days in NICU, finally making it home for just 30 days before being rushed back into the hospital.

Her family has been through so much, and right now, they need our help. Esme’s mom has had to put everything on hold to be by her side, meaning she is unable to work. We want to help raise funds to support them with daily costs—petrol for hospital visits, household expenses, and most importantly, to give Esme’s siblings a chance to have some happy memories, like a holiday together.

This journey has been unbelievably tough, but any support, big or small, will make a huge difference. If you can donate, share, or simply send love and support their way, it would mean the world.

Thank you for being part of Esme’s fight.
