Help Support Esraa Survive and Pursue Her Education
Donation protected
My name is Seema and I am the organizer of this GoFundMe. I am a university student living in Philadelphia, in the United States. I am very grateful to have connected with Esraa duaa qudaih, a 21 year old woman from South Khan Yunis, Palestine. Unfortunately, Esraa has not been able to receive any donations from other organizers so far, so I have set up this GoFundMe in an effort to finally get her the donations she desperately needs to survive amidst an ongoing famine.
Method of payment: I will use Paypal to get Esraa her funds.
Below, I have pasted Esraa's description of herself and her situation that she sent me:
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, I am Esraa Qudaih from the State of Palestine, from the city of Gaza, specifically Khan Yunis, the beautiful village of Khuza’a. Once upon a time, we lived in a beautiful house. A warm little place where we feel safe, secure and stable in a warm family environment. I entered the second year of university and part of my dream almost came true and I graduated with a degree in nursing. I promised myself to do my nurse's job perfectly, but suddenly the hour came on October 7th at 6:30 pm, and everything turned to ashes. We heard the sound of rockets and bombs and the screams of children, women and old people filling the entire place. We left our homes and went to shelters hoping that they would be under international protection, but unfortunately, even in UNRWA schools we could not live safely, so we were asked to evacuate the schools and we were forcibly displaced. We left our places of displacement through military checkpoints with nothing but the clothes we were wearing. We did not even have the most basic necessities, a mattress to sleep on. During this war, our house was completely destroyed and our warm, loving home that sheltered me and two of my brothers was reduced to ashes. Then we were displaced to live in tents, and what do you know about living in tents? It does not protect from the sun or the cold of winter. It is open from all sides, and skin diseases have spread. In addition to the suffering of water, which we find difficult to obtain. Now the crossings are closed and there is nothing to buy. If it is found, its price is many times higher. Even the least expensive flour is not available. All vegetables and fruits are very expensive. I had a dream and the war destroyed it
So I created the GoFoundMe link to help my family and buy flour for my brothers so we don't die of hunger and rebuild my house for everyone and complete my dream that I have always dreamed of all my life. Please donate to me and my family even a small part, every 10 euros makes a difference in my life, I know that your heart is beautiful, please help me to help my family and get food and winter clothes Please help me
